History and Establishment
CARE Hospitals was founded in 1997 in Hyderabad as a 100-bed heart institute with 20 cardiologists, an operating theatre and a cath lab. Over time, it expanded into a multi-speciality healthcare provider with more than a dozen hospitals in major Indian cities, serving thousands of patients every year across specialties like cardiology, neurology, oncology and orthopaedics.
Founder & Leadership
The hospital group was started by Dr. B. Soma Raju and other eminent cardiologists as a mission to make advanced healthcare accessible and affordable.
